What do I get with this course?

You get access to 10 videos and a 150+ page Workbook/Journal. The Workbook/Journal has a series of questions and activities related to each video. The videos provide additional questions, explanations and insights about the topics. The workbook also includes a recommended reading list and other bonus material.

Is the course time-based or self-paced, and how long should the program take to complete?

Finding Your Dominion is a self-paced, self-study course. With the exception of Session One, you will complete a section of the workbook/journal first and then watch an accompanying video. In addition to more instruction, most videos include additional tools found in the Resource Guide. I recommend taking one to three weeks to complete each module. The entire program should take 3 to 6 months.

What if I don’t feel called to or led into full-time ministry, is this course still valuable for me?

Absolutely. In fact, you are exactly the person this course is designed for. I believe God intended believers to be involved and engaged in every aspect of human life. Most believers are supposed to use their talents, gifts and passions to be salt and light in the “real world” of business and community and products and services. This program clarifies God’s Kingdom purposes for the “real world” as well as your role within it.

The word dominion scares me, can you help me understand why it’s in the title of this course?

Like a lot of Godly, Biblical concepts, the idea of dominion has been hijacked and used against the Church in recent years. I understand the division and confusion this has caused and I hesitated using the word in the title. In the end, however, I am convinced God wants to reclaim not just the concept, but the call and purpose Jesus spoke about when He used the word Kingdom which literally means King’s Dominion. What do you mean by “workbook/journal?”

I describe the materials this way because the course is designed to guide you through a study of Scriptures and Biblical principles. Although there are factual and data type questions, most of the questions and activities require personal thoughts and introspection. Throughout the course, you’ll be prayerfully considering your thoughts, responses, and attitudes and even your struggles.

How does the course help me develop practical skills related to the subject matter? Are there practical assignments or projects to apply the learned material?

I believe everything in the Bible is meant to help us live “on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Because of this belief, the program covers both the theological and practical aspects of Scripture with an intentional focus on putting everything into practice for a lifetime. Additionally, the Resource and Bonus material is full of immediately useful communication, relationship, and personal management tools and skills.

You’ll gain a clear understanding of God’s intentional Design of His world and you and then you’ll explore God’s motivating Desires. In the next section on Devotions, you’ll explore where and how you spend your life. You’ll then begin to plan for the Appropriation of all that you’ve learned and finish by creating a Defined Dominion plan for your life.

Can individuals from any Christian denomination participate in this course and what if I am a new Believer?

This program is open to and applicable to any Bible Believing follower of Christ, regardless of experience of knowledge. Because it is set-up like a Bible Study, all participants will benefit and grow from the materials. As the subtitle says, it is a deep dive into identity, purpose, and the application of God’s Word. Every believer has a God given identity and purpose and a need to apply the Word of God in their lives.

What are the technical requirements for taking an online course?
